Tutor Agreement
This agreement governs your role and responsibilities as an independent tutor on the HomeGuru platform. Please read it carefully before registering.
Effective Date: 1st April 2026Role of Tutor
·Tutors are independent contractors
·Not employees, partners, or agents of HomeGuru
Services
Tutors agree to:
·Provide accurate information
·Deliver quality sessions
·Maintain professionalism
Payments
·Tutors will receive payments after deduction of platform commission
·Payment timelines will be defined by HomeGuru and will be done weekly
Platform Rules
Tutors agree NOT to:
·Take students off-platform
·Share personal contact for direct payments
·Misrepresent qualifications
Violation may lead to permanent ban.
Ratings & Reviews
Tutors will be rated by students.
Consistently poor performance may result in removal.
Content & Conduct
Tutors must:
·Avoid offensive or inappropriate behavior
·Maintain professional communication
Termination
HomeGuru may suspend or terminate tutor accounts at any time for violations.
Liability
Tutors are solely responsible for:
·Their teaching
·Content delivered
·Claims arising from their sessions
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by Indian law.
Jurisdiction: Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Acceptance
By registering as a Tutor on HomeGuru, you agree to this Agreement and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated herein.
